GENERAL INFORMATION:

⁂ the most unruly and unhinged amongst the Harpies; is emotional due to the experimentation upon them and has violent tendencies that are only controlled through a medication called Immorlium.

⁂ their true identity is hidden to all except FANG, who knew them in childhood. They are a former criminal who has erased any data regarding their physical identity, though they still refuse to have any pictures taken of them nor any other ‘evidence’ of their existence.

⁂ Optional, but encouraged: they escaped prison by bargaining their silence regarding the Wolfsbane experiment (perhaps blackmailing the ESID), and this is why they are able to work as a bounty hunter.

⁂ Orphaned at a young age and was moved from Devil’s Kettle in Egress Central to Uhlrig, Rass. In their teen years, they found a mentor (i.e. their caseworker, a foster parent, etc.) that was their only source of affection and was also the one who encouraged them to sign onto the UEU’s program in partnership with the Egressian Empire.

THE WOLFSBANE EXPERIMENT

TW: abuse, torture.

The Wolfsbane Experiment sought to discover how human behavior could be tempered through use of a serum that had shown similar results on wolves. The original serum was developed to domesticate wolves, in addition to genetically altering them, so that they might be used as trophy pets for Egressian elite. There had been smaller scale experiments that had shown the serum, which is actually a fungus, to have a positive affect on other animals’ moods and health, hence why it was approved for human testing. Additionally, it was believed that the Wolfsbane Experiment could pave the way towards the Empire winning the Silent War, specifically by making spies and soldiers that would compete with Telorev’s superhumans.

These experiments occurred in the nascent ESID Testing Center, which was opened on Espiritú’s Umaurian Education University’s campus. Participation in Testing Center research became mandatory for the slim number of scholarship kids the year that the Center opened and the Wolfsbane experiments began. On paper, the participants were subjected to psychological testing, but in actuality, the serum ravaged their body and they were subjected to torture and brainwashing.
